During July CPF completed four lettings / lease renewals and a rent review within the retail sector. These were at five different locations (Bath, Barnet, Basildon, Bury and Uttoxeter) and to five difference tenants (Creams, Sainsbury’s, Pets at Home, KFC and Argos). Some quarters of the retail market continue to face extremely challenging conditions but this level of asset management activity within the portfolio demonstrates that we can attract tenants to CPF’s retail properties and continue to retain existing tenants which is reassuring evidence for the health of CPF’s retail properties.
