Last week Savills hosted a seminar specifically targeting the charities and institutions registered as charities. Around 50 clients attended the event held in the Margaret Street office.
Chaired by Johnny Dudgeon (Savills, Rural Energy) there were six presentations relating to different aspects of property and sustainability with relevance to charities as follows:
1. Emily Norton (Savills Rural Research) - Land use policy for net zero
2. Robert Nieri (Brabners, Charity and Social Enterprise Team) - Property related legal development for charities in the last 12 months
3. Jon Dearsley (Savills Food and Farming) - Environmental opportunities for landowners
4. Clive Beer (Savills Rural Valuations) - The value of valuation
5. John Bowles (Savills Planning) - Planning and natural capital - the changing environment
6. Robert Godfrey (OU Endowment Management) - Managing an endowment
"The beauty of Savills is that our scale means we can provide advice across the property sector, yet far from sitting separately, we work together to look at projects from all angles and offer holistic solutions. Solutions that are backed up by both knowledge from our extensive experience and by data from our market-leading research department". Johnny Dudgeon, Savills Rural Energy
