The Fund has completed a new 10 year lease of Units A & B, 5-10 Westgate Buildings, Bath to Sports Direct. The new lease is for a term of 10 years at an annual rent of £150,000 per annum. Sports Direct will invest approximately £500,000 in upgrading their store to extend from their current Unit A into Unit B, to accommodate a USC and a Game concession. Sports Direct have been in occupation of Westgate Buildings for in excess of 10 years. This letting has resulted in the retail void across the Fund’s portfolio declining to 0.2%, which will drop to zero upon completion of another lease at the Fund’s retail park outside Manchester.
