02 Apr 2007

The Fund has delivered a total return (income and capital) for 2006 of 18.2% and benefited from a strong final quarter of 4.1%, and has paid out 7.55p per unit in 2006, which is an increase of 3.9% on 2005 (7.27p per unit).

New subscriptions of around £8 million were made in December comprising 36 new investors and 25 unitholders adding to their existing investment. The Fund continued its unbroken trend to net inflows of new money each quarter, although there were some redemptions reflecting profit-taking by early investors.
