9.40-10.20: Economic overview â€" Chris Hills, Chief Investment officer at Rensburg Sheppards, will give an overview of the UK economy in a global context, the impact of the credit crunch and the outlook for inflation and interest rates. Chris will give his perspective of the property market and listed property companies.
10.20-11.00: UK Property - Andrew Allen, Head of Research and Strategy at Cordea Savills, will highlight the current trends and themes in both UK commercial and residential property, and the issues charities should consider in these challenging markets
11.00-11:20: Coffee break
11.20-12.00: Property in a global perspective â€" Matthew Oakley, Head of Commercial Research at Savills, will give an update on global property issues with particular emphasis on Europe and how these markets compare and contrast to the UK
12.00-12.30: Managing Property as a real asset â€" Harry de Ferry Foster, Portfolio Manager of the Charities Property Fund, will explain through real examples of how one can maximise the potential from direct property.
12.45 onwards: Buffet lunch and networking
